[Trio was found Guilty at a later date]

PITTSFIELD — A man and two women were arraigned in Superior Court on Tuesday in connection with the April 25 knifepoint robbery at the Angelina's sandwich shop in Dalton.

David A. Underhill Jr., 18, of Hinsdale Road, Dalton, pleaded not guilty of assault and battery by means of dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit armed robbery while masked.

Superior Court Judge John Agostini ordered that Underhill be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $500 cash or $5,000 surety.

The charges stem from an incident in which an Angelina's customer was held at knifepoint by another suspect, 18-year-old William J. Litchfield, of Dalton.

Jessica K. Loria, 21, of Main Street, Becket, was the alleged getaway driver in the incident, and pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery while masked.

Meghan G. DiGrigoli, 20, of East New Lenox Road, Lenox, pleaded not guilty to the same charge as Loria.

Both women were also charged with receiving stolen property over $250, in connection with the theft of a bicycle in Dalton on the same day.

Underhill allegedly stole that bike, and faces an additional charge of breaking

and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and larceny from a building.

The two women were released on personal recognizance and ordered to remain away from the victims in the case.

In April, Dalton Police said Litchfield admitted that he and Underhill planned to wear black masks and enter the sandwich shop simultaneously.

As a customer entered the store, police said, Litchfield grabbed him and held a knife to his face. He received two lacerations to his hand in the incident.

Litchfield was arraigned on the charges on May 29.
